5 Nights Luxor To Aswan

Day 1: Friday – Luxor

Upon arrival in Luxor, you will be met and assisted, followed by a transfer to your Dahabiya Nile cruise. Embarkation will take place before lunch, which will be served on board.

The sightseeing program begins with a visit to Luxor Temple, originally founded around 1400 BC and constructed from sandstone brought from southwestern Egypt.

You will then continue to Karnak Temple, an impressive complex featuring a vast collection of temples, chapels, pylons, and ancient structures. After the tour, return to the Dahabiya for dinner and overnight on board.

Day 2: Saturday – Luxor – Esna

Breakfast will be served on board before crossing to the West Bank of the Nile. The day starts with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood for over 3,400 years.

You will then explore the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Queens, followed by a visit to the Temple of Hatshepsut, dramatically set beneath the cliffs on the western bank of the Nile near the Valley of the Kings. Return to the boat for lunch while sailing toward Esna. Dinner and overnight will be on board.

Day 3: Sunday – Luxor – Edfu – Al Ramady Island

Enjoy breakfast on board as the Dahabiya sails toward Edfu. Upon arrival, visit the remarkably well-preserved Temple of Horus, dedicated to the falcon-headed god. Built in 237 BC during the reign of the Ptolemaic dynasty, it is one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt and the second largest after Karnak.

Constructed from sandstone, the temple stands on the site of an earlier structure, traces of which can still be seen. Inscriptions reveal restoration work carried out by New Kingdom rulers such as Seti I and Ramses II. After the visit, return to the boat for lunch and continue sailing to Al Ramady Island. Dinner and overnight will be on board.

Day 4: Monday – Al Ramady Island – Aswan

Breakfast will be served on board while sailing toward El Sheikh Fadl Island. Spend the day relaxing and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the Nile.

Lunch will be served on board, followed by continued sailing toward Aswan. Dinner and overnight will take place on the Dahabiya.

Day 5: Tuesday – Aswan

After breakfast on board, begin the Aswan sightseeing tour with a visit to Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis and closely associated with the myth of Isis and Osiris. The temple was once a major pilgrimage site in ancient Egypt.

Continue to the High Dam, completed in 1960, an engineering marvel containing materials equivalent to 18 times those used in building the Great Pyramid of Giza.

Return to the boat for lunch. In the early evening, enjoy tea and coffee on board, followed by dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Wednesday – Aswan – Disembarkation

Pricing Policy

At Nile Cruise Offers, all prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise. We also accept payments in other major currencies, including Euros (EUR) and British Pounds (GBP), based on the official exchange rate on the payment date.

Prices reflect current market conditions, seasonal changes, and availability, and may vary without prior notice. Once a deposit or full payment is made, your booking price is secured and guaranteed.

Holiday Supplement:

A 25% surcharge applies to all Nile Cruises and tours booked during Christmas, New Year, and Easter due to peak demand.

Nile Cruise Booking & Payment Terms

To secure your voyage along the historic Nile, we have clear and straightforward payment terms designed for your convenience and to guarantee your reservation.

Standard Nile Cruise Bookings:

  • A 30% deposit is required to confirm your chosen cabin and cruise dates.
  • The remaining 70% balance is due no later than 15 days prior to your scheduled arrival date in Egypt.

Peak Season Bookings (Christmas, New Year, Easter):

  • Due to exceptionally high demand, a 50% deposit is required to confirm your cruise reservation during these periods.
  • The final 50% balance is also due 15 days before your arrival.

Confirmation & Documentation: Upon receipt of your payment, you will promptly receive a formal booking confirmation via email, along with a detailed itinerary and all necessary travel documents. A payment receipt will be included for your records.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation terms are as follows:

  • 30 days or more before arrival: Full refund minus any bank or transaction fees
  • 15–29 days before arrival: 25% of total tour cost
  • 7–14 days before arrival: 50% of the total tour cost
  • Less than 7 days or no-show: 100% of the total tour cost

Refunds, when applicable, are processed within 14 business days after receiving your written cancellation request. Some cruises or hotels may have stricter policies, which will be clearly outlined in your itinerary.

Children Policy

At Nile Cruise Offers, we happily welcome families and offer the following children’s rates:

  • Infants under 2 years: Free of charge
  • Children 2–5 years: 25% of adult price
  • Children 6–11 years: 50% of adult price
  • Children 12 years and above: Full adult price

Discounts apply only when children share accommodation with two full-paying adults. Some Nile Cruises and luxury hotels may have specific policies or restrictions for young children, which will be noted in your itinerary if applicable.

Tipping Guidelines in Egypt

Tipping (“baksheesh”) is customary in Egypt to show appreciation for good service. While not mandatory, it is widely appreciated:

  • Tour guide: $15–$20 per day per group
  • Driver: $5–$10 per day per group
  • Nile Cruise crew: $10 per person per night (shared among staff)

Tipping is usually not included in your package. We recommend carrying small USD or EGP bills for convenience.
